Atlanta Falcons Safety Jordan Fuller Hosts Youth Football Clinic in Northvale, N.J.

Atlanta Falcons safety Jordan Fuller and his brother, former NFL wide receiver Devin Fuller, hosted a youth football clinic on Sunday, June 29, in Northvale, New Jersey, combining on-field training with mental wellness tools for young athletes.

The event was sponsored by RADical Hope, a national nonprofit focused on strengthening connections and building resilience in young adults. In recent years, the National Football League, Commissioner Roger Goodell, and several of the league’s teams have partnered with RADical Hope to deliver programming to student and professional athletes. Their financial and organizational support reflects a growing league-wide emphasis on athlete mental health.

“The past couple of years, I’ve been through a bunch of stuff, and I feel like getting stuff out — talking to people, building connections, building resilience, and also trying to get ahead of stuff while you can — I think it’s really, really important,” Fuller said. “Especially for young adults, where they’re trying to figure out who they are, and they have a bunch of pressures from maybe family or peers or whatever — it can be a lot.”

Fuller selected RADical Hope as his cause during the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign in 2023 and has been a leading voice in promoting the importance of mental health. Hosting the youth clinic on his home turf reflects his commitment to supporting the next generation of athletes. The event is funded for all participants through the sponsorship of RADical Hope.

“This clinic is about more than football; it’s about helping kids develop confidence, emotional strength, and skills they can use both on and off the field,” Fuller said. “Devin and I know firsthand how important mental resilience is, and we’re grateful to partner with RADical Hope to make this happen. Returning to our hometown to spend time with kids in the community makes it even more meaningful.”

A standout at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan, Fuller played multiple positions for the Golden Knights. As a senior, he rushed for 747 yards and 10 touchdowns, caught 33 passes for 886 yards and five touchdowns, threw for 135 yards, and made 44 tackles with six interceptions on defense. He was named Gatorade Player of the Year for New Jersey and NJ.com State Player of the Year.  Fuller was a starting safety and academic All-American at Ohio State University and was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 2020.

RADical Hope partners with colleges, pro sports teams, and community organizations across the country to deliver its signature program, RADical Health. To date, the initiative has reached thousands of student-athletes and more than 20,000 young adults. Programs are fully funded by RADical Hope to ensure accessibility to all participants.
