Gonzaga University Honors Chris Martin with Honorary Degree

On May 12, 2019, Chris Martin’s memory was honored at Gonzaga University’s undergraduate commencement ceremony with an Honorary Degree. Phil Martin, Chris’ father and co-founder of RADical Hope, received the diploma on behalf of his son. The love from the University and the student class was powerful and supported Chris’ entire family throughout the day.

“If Chris were here today, he would be talking, listening, helping, joking, dancing, and loving his way through this special day. Thank you for keeping our kind, generous, fun, funny and loving Chris alive as part of his beloved Gonzaga family, and for giving his family a loving moment. From the words of author Brad Meltzer, ‘Remember that everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.’”

Chris Martin’s memory lives on through his friends, family and through the mission at RADical Hope, to improve the brain health of our country’s young people.
