Larry Bossidy lived with faith and humility. He spent every day working to make himself – and the world – better. His contributions to American business are extraordinary and well documented. But quiet philanthropy defined him.Larry was forever in the service of others. He improved the lives and opportunities of generations of young people through leadership, mentorship and compassion.
When he lost a grandson, Larry moved Heaven and earth to find out why and to do whatever he could to help young adults find meaning and fulfillment in life.
Through his grief, RADical Hope was born, giving tens of thousands of young people across the country the chance to better know themselves and to practice the essential daily life skills that Larry, himself, lived by. No one worked harder to fulfill our mission over the past six years.
Larry Bossidy left this earth bursting with optimism. He had every faith in the goodness of people and in the unlimited potential of the human spirit that he worked so hard to unlock in others. What a wonderful legacy. We will miss him every day.
