Radical Hope CEO Liz Feld Discusses Youth Mental Health and Resilience on NBC’s 11Alive Atlanta
Radical Hope CEO Liz Feld joined NBC’s 11Alive Atlanta to discuss the growing youth mental health crisis and how RADical Hope is equipping college students with the skills they need to thrive.
In the interview, Liz speaks about the alarming number of young adults entering college without foundational life skills like emotional regulation, communication and stress management.
The segment dives into how RADical Hope’s peer-led, evidence-based resilience program is addressing these gaps head-on. The four-week program, RADical Health, currently runs on over 75 college campuses nationwide, including Georgia-based schools like Atlanta Technical College, Mercer University and Morehouse College. The program is designed to empower students through small group sessions that focus on meaningful connection, skill-building and peer support.
“Difficult times are going to come – we can’t change that,” said Liz. “But we can give young people the tools to navigate them with confidence.”
