RADical Hope Welcomes Dickinson College as Newest Partner to Support Student-Athletes

Carlisle, PA — October 09, 2025 — RADical Hope, a nonprofit committed to strengthening connections and building resilience in young adults, is proud to announce Dickinson College as its newest partner in delivering RADical Health to student-athletes. This marks the first time Dickinson will bring RADical Health to its campus, expanding the program’s growing national network of college partners.

This fall, every first-year student-athlete at Dickinson is taking part in RADical Health’s peer-led program — a four-week experience designed to foster community, build resilience and equip students with tools to balance the demands of academics and athletics. In total, 165 first year student-athletes are experiencing the program under the guidance of  34 upperclassmen student-athletes, all trained as peer facilitators.

“For our first-year student-athletes, RADical Health is about more than skills  – it’s about connection,” said Celine Cunningham, Director of Athletics at Dickinson College. “It helps them build community, find support, and develop the tools they need to navigate challenges during their time at Dickinson and well after they graduate. We want our students to feel supported from the very start, both on and off the field.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Dickinson College as a new partner,” said MacKenzie Kelly, Director of Programs at RADical Hope. “This launch underscores our shared belief that students thrive when they feel connected and supported. We are excited to work alongside Dickinson to ensure that student-athletes are equipped with the community and skills they need from the very start of their college journey.”

RADical Health was developed in consultation with behavioral health specialists, academic leaders, students and psychologists. It was first piloted in the fall of 2020 with New York University and after several successful pilots, the organization scaled the program nationally. Today, RADical Hope now works with more than 75 campuses and community organizations across the country and has supported tens of thousands of college students. Dickinson joins a growing network of colleges implementing RADical Health to support first-year student-athletes, alongside Middlebury, Amherst, Wesleyan, Bentley, and others.
