RADical Hope Partners with PeaceLove
Like many young people today, Chris Martin experienced periods of emotional isolation, compounded by a glaring lack of opportunities to express his struggles. Where mental health programs do exist, there is no universal standard to measure which interventions are effective. Chris’s experience is at the core of our mission. We are committed to changing this landscape. Supported by scientists across the field, RADical Hope will establish a model to evaluate social behavioral programs, with the goal of setting a standard that can be universally applied.
In support of our mission, RADical Hope will identify superior programs that require operational and evidentiary support to scale successfully. Our first partner in this effort is PeaceLove, a transformative program that has demonstrated the power of healing arts. PeaceLove empowers people to share their stories and create peace of mind through expressive arts. We know from testimonials and participant feedback that it’s working. In our view, the program’s impact could be further enhanced with evidential validation of its effectiveness. RADical Hope’s first strategic investment will:
- Design and fund a rigorous evaluation for mental health program efficacy, beginning with PeaceLove;
- Increase PeaceLove’s training capacity threefold to enhance and expand program delivery.
